Mmmm...Asterix and his buddies are 50 years old :) Here's a very old and unfinished model of the star...just for the occasion.

This weeks speed challenge was on Architecture and I wanted to do something from the Jetsons cartoon. They have such cool designs on the show...from cars to buildings and everything in between. I just wished there was better reference material on the web. Anyway, this is how far I got in 60 minutes.

Another model done for the speed modelling challenges on Newtek's forum a while back...but I never did get the time to texture it. Anyway...download the Lightwave format file or you can try the OBJ format instead...if you don't use Lightwave :O) Have fun with it.

Almost done with the left side...just needs some minor fixes and small details like rivets, blots etc. I'll leave it for about a week before tackling the other side....it's going to be fun.

Just a little update on the goggle model....this is becoming way too fun :O)

This weeks speed modeling challenge topic is Optics and what a better excuse to model something steampunk related :) It's my own design...I'm not sure about the dome part but we'll see how it ends up.

Little Lulu....first designed in 1935 and changed a bit over time as most characters do. She was a great subject for another speed modelling challenge and oh so fun to make.
