April 23rd was National Sovereignty and Children's Day in Turkey. It's a major event that people flock to Anitkabir in Ankara. Sadly I went after the main event around 3pm..but I still managed to take some cool photos :)

Here's some more from the women's day rally in Ankara.  Here's to women truely becoming equal and free from all forms of violence!

International Women's Day in Ankara was great, although there were only a handful of women wearing head scarfs. Anyway, freedom to all women...everywhere!!
