Kuzey's 3d art & photography

I tried the SSS 2 node this time around and I can't believe I haven't used it before.  Still, I might tweak the settings a bit more...for fun. Next up...eyes and oh yes....I think I might share these three surfaces :)

Just some silly slimy tests :)  The first render has no SSS, Fast Skin node was used in the slimy7 render...which was replaced with the Sigma2 node...for the bottom image.  Next....I need to work out how to add transparency and still use the Sigma2 node....Mmmmmmm.

Just need to add some eyes & slime...I think :)

Take one photo, play around in photoshop and you end up with graffiti art...haha!

I'm loving this weeks speed modelling challenge...here's my slimy monster :) Made in 53 minutes, the update is looking very yucky indeed..coming up soon!

Re-modelled parts of the wing and landing gear...and oh yes..re-textured the whole thing as well :)

Finished the raygun from Sky Captain.  I had to re-model most of it, just to get the horizontal groove looking the way I wanted...interesting process.  Next up...surfacing!

Guess who download some free spray paint brushes for Photoshop....I should have done this ages ago :)

That's more like it, just what a warbot needs...large teeth to scare the hell out of you :)

Here's something fun and a little different..a warbot! I'm not so sure about the legs or that square thingy on the front..or is it the back....anyway...80 minutes of modelling fun :)

Just playing around with some boot designs for my astronauts.  The shoe on the left is purely for fun, the middle one is not finished...the one on the right...fits the character in the next post :)

I saw this tutorial for modo and just had to try it in Lightwave.  Btw...it's a totally different approach...what do you expect from me :)  I didn't do any practice runs, so it took longer than I hoped...but that's half the fun.  I recorded the whole process....so...keep an eye out for it!
