I did this for the Adobe EXTREME Print Challenge on Facebook. The full image at 7200 x 3600 pixels, took 50 hours to render on my Macbook. At which point, I found out the subdivision level for the stars were left at the default level of 3...don't you just love when that happens :) So I ended up doing the stars in Photoshop, kinda looks better with the mix of 2d and 3d...I might have to try that more often. It looks like I didn't make the deadline...but it was fun trying to depict spring in space.

Another sneak peak of the leather node library.....more to come. Tweak...tweak and a lot more tweaking :)

It seems I fell out of the node groove I was in. I'm sure I'll stumble into a new groove and continue with the crazy node experiments :) Anyway, this is something I found on my HD...another character that needs to be finished..haha.
